The 15th Annual Culinary Institute of the Pacific "Spring Gourmet Gala" Kauai Community College, Pau Hana Edition will be happening on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the KCC Fine Dining Room at 6 p.m.
A food and wine tasting fundraiser featuring famed chefs ALAN WONG of Alan Wong's Honolulu, The Pineapple Room, and Alan Wong Shanghai, VIKRAM GARG and Chef CHAI CHAOWASAREE, DK KODAMA of Sansei Seafood Restaurant & Sushi Bar, d.k. Steak House, & Vino. Also featuring, GEORGE "CHEF MAVRO" MAVROTHALASSISTIS, local guest chefs and sommeliers, as well as a host of local chefs and sommeliers.
Funds raised will help enhance KCC's Culinary Arts Program and purchase essential kitchen and dining room equipment, instructional materials, and small wares. All items purchased will be used for training that serves students, patrons, and the hospitality industry in our community.
